While in Kenya we were able to stay the entire 3 weeks with a local Bishop who also took us to all the places we needed to go. “Look what the Lord has done”. The first thing we needed to do was apply for registration for the Benjamin’s Home Orphanage. This process normally takes about 6 months. But God really moved and our registration was approved in one day and we had the completed certificate in one week including our constitution and bylaws. This is a miracle from God. While in Kisii, Kenya at the Peter Plum Orphanage Bishop took us up into the Manga district of Kisii to show us land. It was a beautiful area. So we prayed over this land and began to claim it for the Benjamin’s Home Orphanage. The next week Bishop made an appointment with a member of the Kenyan Parliament, the Honorable Mr. Nyambati, who is in charge of the Manga District. We wanted to talk with him about obtaining land in the Manga District.. We knew that there may be land set aside for such projects as the Benjamin’s Home Orphanage so we had spent time praying and fasting that God would provide. We went into this meeting believing that we should ask for 12 acres of land. When Mr. Nyambati asked us how much land we wanted we told him 12 acres. His response was, ‘What about 15 acres?. This wasn’t land to purchase but has been donated to us for the Benjamin’s Home Orphanage. So God has provided us with 15 acres of land to build The Benjamin’s Home Orphanage and School. We are now well on our way to seeing our vision come to pass.
