This is an exciting time for us in fulfilling what God has called us to do. We are seeking people who would like to partner with us to not only get us to Kenya but to provide continued support for us and the orphans once we’re there. The only people who take care of and provide for the orphaned children of Kenya are local churches if they are financially able to and people from other countries like us who are obedient to the call of God. Many young children are sold by relatives who cannot care for them after the child’s parents have died or been killed.

Once we are there we will be looking for land to purchase to build The Benjamin House Orphanage. When we arrive in Kenya we will be working with some of the local churches who are in need of someone to help run the orphanages that they have. There are some children who are being taught and having food and clothing provided to them but then have to depend on other local families to give them shelter at night because the church cannot afford to purchase a building to house them. The background picture is one such group of children who have no real place to stay at night. The structure that these children are in for their schooling is just tin walls and a dirt floor.
